This is our go to place! Best won ton soup around. If u cannot have MSG this is the place to go, never have to worry if your food will have MSG, they don’t use it.

Fantastic eggrolls! Hand made and huge!! Best in chicago! And soups are fabulous!

I gotta tell ya. I’m sitting here waiting for my order and this place is busy. It is a Friday evening but wow. Some other person was waiting with me complaining under his breathe that it’s taking long but maybe he should just open his eyes and see that these people are only human and can only go so fast. the lady at the front is answering phone call after call and handling the register and the walkins as best as she can. 100% effort! I don’t even care how good the food is at this point lol (jk I have had it before and it’s always great!) people need to remember that this is a small business and if you don’t get your phone call answered the first time it’s because she’s already taking an order and just call back :)

We were very impressed with this place. The portions are big, so we always end up with leftovers (which taste just as good reheated the next day). The chicken fried rice is my favorite there, and the egg rolls are delicious as well. You definitely get your money's worth.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal! You really get more than your money's worth here - the portions are quite generous and they don't skimp on the size or quality of the meat/shrimp they serve. This is absolutely worth going out of my way for when I need a Chinese food fix. Best place I've ever been to as far as Chinese food is concerned - I am definitely making this my regular stop from now on.

It's Chinese food from your typical Chinese restaurant (no dine in available). Good prices. The wait for your food is noticeably longer than it used to be, but it's not so long that I'd complain about it either. We order from there about 4 times a year.

Lots and lots of food! I can eat for 4 days from a single serving, the food is alright in flavor.Get egg-rolls, they are huge! Like mini burritos and so freaking good.

Ma's Oriental Express is the gem of Elk Grove Village. The lunch and dinner specials are awesome, and NO MSG! The proportion sizes are huge!!! I love the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp Fried Rice. Eveything on the menu is good, but if you're trying Ma's for the first time, get something you'd like to compare to the pop Chinese chain restaurants that charge twice the price. Excellent value for money 😘 Ma's isn't open on Sundays, and only stays open till 9 pm, so plan ahead.

Friendly service and agreed with everyone else regarding the eggrolls.. their pretty big! I did order the hot and sour soup and was surprised when I opened the container. It seemed like a mix of hot and sour and egg drop. A little unusual, plus... (and I've ordered a good share of hot and sour soups) it was a little on the spicier side than I'm use too.. I couldn't even eat it all... just to much.

Decided to try this place because it had 4.5/5 from 50+ reviews. Probably the best reviewed place in Elk Grove Village. A co-worker and I order Mongolian Beef and Cashew Chicken lunch specials and both were tastey and large portions that we could not finish so we saved it for later. Only get a large of you are really really hungry or plan on splitting with someone. This place tasted better then 3 other places I have tried in the area that we never went back to. We look forward to trying something different at this place again.P.S.You're welcome for the menu pictures.

I have been looking for a place for YEARS that can come close to my favorite Chinese restaurant that closed. This place hit the spot!! Their egg rolls are not only so good! Their HUGE! The pot stickers were to die for. Their sweet and sour shrimp was perfect. A MUST TRY! I found my new place.

It's your typical hole in the wall place. Food is awesome and you get a large portion for a very reasonable price. There is no dining room so you have to carry out but it is definitely worth the drive.

Had a fantastic experience in this place with my wife. The food was served quickly and the service is just excellent. Prices are affordable.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. This place is really good. Ordered the chicken lo mein and the large was served in a carton as big as my head and was amazing. The won ton soup was packed with dumplings and pork. And the small veggie fried rice was enough for two easily. We also ordered veggie egg rolls which was nice to have a non meat option in the egg roll. They also were huge. We got a ton of food for around 29.00 and it easily could have served four people.Note: the lo mein is made with the thinner vermicelli rice noodles which I loved, but if you like the thicker "spaghetti" type, you may want to choose something else. However, if you've never had the thin kind you should definitely try them.

Delicious egg drop soup. Shrimp in the egg foo young is small but you can pay extra for jumbo shrimp to be added. Chicken and broccoli is very flavorful The general chicken is just average the prices are much lower than other restaurants in the area.

This was my go to place for my lunch. I used to work down the street from this hidden gem of Elk Grove. Decent price, Good amount of food, Great service and of course the food is really good as well. I always stop by whenever I'm the area too.

Small Chinese takeout restaurant. The food I tried was surprisingly good for the price. They have a lunch special that brings the price down by an extra dollar or two than the normal dinner prices. Food quality was great and the service was excellent. Portions were also very generous for the price! The only thing I would suggest is that they get a website or online menu so people can order ahead of time if they don't have a paper menu.
